2016 Adult Swim Singles Program, Week 3: D∆WN – “Serpentine Fire”

<—- Week 2: VHÖL – “Dispatch”                                            Week 4: Clark – “Mirage Trooper” —->

Hey everyone. RobBarracuda here, and it’s time to talk about the newest release from the 2016 Adult Swim Singles Program.

This week’s single comes to us from D∆WN, marking her second consecutive appearance on the Singles program following her 2015 contribution “Running From Sane”. Following up the release of her most recent EP Infrared last month, she now graces us with “Serpentine Fire”, a short little tune that’s every bit as solid and eclectic as all her solo output. The song has the expected gorgeous echoing vocals of D∆WN mixed in with very intricate and yet still catchy beat/production, sounding much like the music in the lover’s suite of an outer space hotel. Another solid contribution to this year’s Singles Program, and I’m looking forward to what comes next week. You can stream this song below, and you can download it for free right here.
