Well, it’s been 3 weeks since we last saw a Shippuden episode. And the last time we saw this show, Sasuke set Tobi or whoever it now is on fire with the Amaterasu. Well, he didn’t do it. It was a trap Itachi set up ahead of time to make the person not talk to Sasuke. It didn’t work since he’s still alive. So here’s more talking. It’s the first Shippuden of the year, and boy, this is gonna hurt.
Sasuke is still stunned by all that is happening, as the Tobi guy wants to tell him the truth. He says he is Madara Uchiha, and he knows all about Itachi. Sasuke doesn’t care and just wants Madara gone, but he says it’s important he hear the story of Itachi, and how he risked everything for how he lived. Excuse me for a second, I need to get my liquor ready for this. …. …. Okay, I’m back. Anyway, there were only 4 people who knew of the real Itachi. They were the 3rd Hokage, Danzo, and those two other old geezers that don’t do shit. They were gonna keep this all a secret. But Madara knows the whole truth. Itachi didn’t trust him at all, hence the Amaterasu stunt. Sasuke is losing it over all this, and is about to go nuts.
We then get a flashback to Sasuke as a kid, because why not. He asks Itachi why there’s an Uchiha crest on the police force. Because the Uchiha early ancestors did it to use all preserve all the peace around there. PFFFFFFTTTTTTTTT!!!! I’m sorry, I’ll go on. They grew smaller, was still a force, find criminals. You know, like the po-po do in real life sometimes. All this is making Sasuke go crazy, and Madara tries to calm him, but he knocks him away. His brother is all a lie to him!
He finally calms down, and is all wrapped up cause of him being cuu-koo. So Madara continues on. Itachi killed the clan, that was his goal. But what was hidden was that it was a mission by the Leaf, which Itachi did. To go further with this, they need to go farther back. Like to the Hidden Leaf’s origins that only Sasuke will have to listen to, only for him to make the call to believe it. It’s a long ass story, and I already drunk 1/4 bottle of bourbon. I need the rest of it for this.
It goes back 80 years to the Warring States. Nations fought, and clans got hired to fight. 2 clans were feared by all: The Uchiha and the Senju. The Uchiha were the battle clan. Madara knows this cause he was on the front lines. He sought power and awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan. He fought the Senju leader, Hashirama, who was a Wood-Style Jutsu user. Through the fights, Madara came to respect his rival. The Senju became the most powerful clan by Hashirama, as them and the Uchihas fought all the time on the battlefields. Hell, they got so many enemies along with the Senju, Madara stole his brothers eyes to not only become stronger, but to protect his clan. But one day, the Senjo made a treaty. Madara didn’t like this treaty cause of all the sacrifices he made. But the rest of Uchihas got tired of the fighting, and were happy with this. Madara thought the Uchihas were gonna be oppressed by the Senju if this went on, but the Uchihas went with it, so Madara had no choice. The Leaf joined the Land of Fire, and other nations joined other lands. Peace was finally here, and all seemed good.
Then the Hokage seat happened. Hashirama was chosen as 1st Hokage, even though Madara wanted it. The Uchihas said no to him, and “betrayed” Madara. He then left the Leaf to become an avenger, even declaring war on the Leaf and controlling the Nine-Tails in battles with Hashirama and them.
Madara was defeated at Final Valley, as was told. But he wasn’t killed like all thought. Just forgotten. Hashirama’s little brother became 2nd Hokage, the Uchiha the police force, and all was good at first. But some in the Uchiha saw that Madara was right, and hated this. So they wanted to overthrow the Leaf, and not be Senju lackeys. However, another thing happened that sealed the Uchiha’s fate. The Nine-Tail fox attacking the Leaf 10 years ago. The Uchihas had the power to control the big fox, but Madara says they didn’t do it. They were placed outside the Leaf to where they were now. The 3rd Hokage hated this, but Danzo himself led the way with this Uchiha discrimination. So the Uchihas decide on a coup d’etat. But the Leaf planted Itachi in as a spy. That is where Itachi’s suffering begin and the episode ends.
There is no way around it. This episode was boring. It just was. It was a nice history lesson on how ninjas were always fighting and we got learn some stuff about the 1st Hokage. But come on, do we really need to go all the way back that far? This was exactly like sitting through a history class lesson with your teacher: Long, tedious, and you long for the session to end. Not to mention it was sandwiched in with the good stuff before and after it (Killua threatening a fucker and the Moria fight.) This sucked, nothing happened, that is it. I don’t need to say anymore. Other than this is still going to go for one more episode, because fuck you, that’s why. Now all you need to do is turn in this Ninja History homework assignment by Tuesday. 1 DO SOMETHING!!/5.
